1050 aluminum circle for utensils

2021-06-25 15:05:51

Haomei supplies 1050 aluminum circle for utensils of 0.5mm to 6.0mm thick. The diameter is 100mm to 1250mm. 1050 is among the most popular alloys for aluminum disc circles. Sometimes it can be replaced by 1060, for the two are very similar in either chemical composition or mechanical properties. But if clients ask for 1050, we supply 1050, unless they agree that it can be replaced. This alloy is featured by low hardness, good tensile strength, good elongation and low price.

Aluminium is applied to utensils because of its light weight, good plasticity, good corrosion resistance and low cost. Aluminium weighs only about half of steel and one third of copper, the other two most frequently applied metals in utensil and industrial industries. This not only makes aluminum utensils much lighter than traditional ones, but also reduces the overall cost of the utensils, for a piece of 1kg-weight aluminum circle is much bigger than a steel circle of the same weight, which means a bigger product can be made out of this aluminum circle. This reduces the cost of aluminum utensils indirectly. Good strength and elongation of 1050 aluminum circle results in good plasticity. This makes it perform well in deep drawing and spinning processes of utensil making. Good corrosion resistance is a common advantage of all pure aluminum products. Their oxide serves as a firm protective layer rather than peels off as powders. Low cost of 1050 aluminum circle for utensils results from the high content of aluminium in the earth’s crust, the low cost of separating pure aluminium from minerals and the maturity of aluminum circle manufacturing technology.

Haomei 1050 aluminum circle for utensils are featured by accurate chemical composition, zero impurities, excellent surface quality, outstanding deep drawing and spinning performances and low ear rate. The price of the circle is now a little higher than several months ago, for the manufacturing cost has been climbing since the Covid-19.
