The 5754 aluminum deck plate is actually an aluminium tread plate of 5754 alloy. The primary function of decking is anti-skid, thus aluminum plates of smooth surfaces are seldom used. 5754 aluminum sheet plate is a medium-strength aluminum alloy plate with a magnesium alloy content of 2.6%-3.6%, which is lower than that of 5052 and 5083. Generally, the higher the magnesium alloy content, the higher the hardness. Therefore, among the three grades of aluminum plates, 5754 has a lower hardness, but its toughness is better. What’s more, 5754 is the cheapest of all, that’s why it’s popular as a deck plate.

5754 aluminum deck plate has the highest strength, corrosion resistance and good weldability among non-heat-treated alloy aluminum plates. Its surface processing quality is outstanding, and it can be processed with a variety of different textures. Machinery such as brushing, sandblasting, grinding end, polishing and other places that are easy to apply to 5754 aluminium alloy, and have a highly satisfactory effect. The patterns of the plate include 5 bar, diamond, 1 bar, 3 bar, 2 bar etc. Due to the advantages of hardness and tensile strength, the 5754 aluminum plate has been used in high-speed rail barrier plates in recent years.

As a decking material the 5754 aluminium plate has good rust and corrosion resistance, no color difference on the anodized surface, excellent processing performance, strong corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength, high weldability and medium static strength.
