An aluminum anodized coil differs from common aluminum rolls in an extra technical process called anodizing. This process generates an oxide film on the aluminum product surface under the corresponding electrolyte and specific process conditions due to the action of the applied current. If no specified explanation is added, anodized aluminium coils are usually obtained by the method of sulfuric acid anodizing as mentioned above.
The technical features of acid anodizing are as below. Raw materials of the process must be pure and clean enough, or else the oxide film tend to mix with impurities and turn yellow. The layers of an aluminum coil roll might stick together during anodizing, making the surface of the oxide color uneven with rainbow colors and other poor marks. Failure in controlling technical steps leads to black or white aluminum coil surface and cooling bed. Too high electrolyte temperatures or too long electrolysis time causes deformation of the coil surface. In addition, the aluminum roll should be prevented from sinking during the oxidation process, otherwise a short circuit might occur. In the alkali corrosion process, if the concentration of sulfuric acid is not well controlled, the corrosion resistance of the profile surface will be reduced. The surface of the oxide film is also prone to oxidation, gray, black or appearance quality problems.
Haomei manufactures its anodized aluminum coils in strict accordance with standard technical items and supplies products of the following specifications: thickness 0.3mm-3.0mm, width 1000mm-2650mm, anodizing film thickness 3-25um and colors of silver, titanium silver, gold, titanium, champagne, copper, gray etc. If you need brushing, there are straight drawing, long drawing, medium drawing and broken drawing available.
