The aluminum strip is a new type of production tool for the embossing process. It has the advantages of hard and firm material texture, high processing precision, good pressure resistance and deformation resistance, and provides a reliable guarantee for standardizing the embossing process and improves printing efficiency and quality.
For conventional use, 3003 aluminum strips are commonly used as cores, fill-in materials, and stencil edges in embossed typographic processes. In addition, it can be extended to the application of the plate to achieve a multi-purpose. In the printing process, when printing small-format illustrations and publications, the traditional production process generally uses plywood as the plate holder, but such a board is not solid and easily deformed, and the print often has burrs and hairs.
Therefore, such a plate is difficult to reuse and waste valuable wood resources. Based on the above situation, the original thickness of aluminum strip is almost the same as the height of the empty aluminum, so it is obviously not enough for the printing plate to be used.
If cardboard is used to pad the bottom of the aluminum plate, it is necessary to pad several layers to achieve the height required for printing, and the printing pressure is not solid enough to affect the printing quality. If we use an empty lead with a proper thickness, attach it directly to the back of the aluminum strip with a double-sided tape, so that we can reach the height required for printing by sticking an empty lead at each end of the aluminum tape. Since the aluminum strip is thick and hard, the printing pressure of the suspended section in the middle without padding can be maintained evenly.
The use of the aluminum strip for the support of the plate can not only facilitate and improve the layout and loading efficiency of the small-format printing, but also improve the printing quality, and the plate can be repeatedly used, and the application effect is satisfactory.
