According to main alloy elements, aluminum alloy can be divided into 2XXX department of aluminum copper alloy (Al, Cu), 3XXX department of aluminum manganese alloy (Al - Mn), 4XXX department of aluminum silicon alloy(Al - Si), 5XXX department of aluminum magnesium alloy(Al, Mg), 6XXX department of the magnesium aluminum silicon alloy(Al, Mg, Si), and 7 XXX department of aluminum zinc magnesium alloy[Al - zinc - Mg - (Cu)].
Alloy aluminum plate can be divided into binary alloy aluminum plate, ternary alloy aluminum plate, quaternary alloy aluminum plate and polyalloy aluminum plate.
The alloy aluminum plate can be divided into heat treatable reinforced alloy aluminum plate and non-heat treatment reinforced alloy aluminum plate according to heat treatment. Non-reinforced alloy aluminum plate can only conduct cold processing to be strengthened, and heat treatment cannot be significantly enhanced.
The characteristics of the 2XXX series aluminum plate are high hardness, with the highest copper content, about 3-5%. The 2XXX series aluminum sheet belongs to aviation aluminum, which is not used very often in conventional industry. The current imports are mainly made by south Korean and German manufacturers. With the development of China’s aerospace industry, the production technology of the 2XXX series aluminum plate will be further improved.
The 3XXX series of aluminum plates are mainly composed of manganese. The content is between 1.0 and 1.5%. It is a good anti-rust function aluminum plate. 3XXX aluminum alloy is regularly applied in air conditioning, refrigerator, car bottom and other humid environment, and the price is higher than 1XXXseries and is a more commonly used alloy series.
