A super narrow 0.5mm thin 1060 aluminum strip is of 1060 aluminium alloy, the most widely applied aluminium narrow strip product. 1060 aluminium contains 99.6% aluminum element, with the left Si, Cu, Mg, Zn, Mn, Ti, V, Fe and other elements summing up to 0.4% the the total metal content. The softness of aluminum 1060 is second only to 1070, which has 99.7% aluminium, 0.1% more than 1060. The more the aluminum content an alloy has, the weaker in hardness it is. The production process of all 1060 aluminum products is very simple and mature. The products have high plasticity, corrosion resistance and conductivity.

The tensile strength of 1060 aluminum strip is good, but when it’s so narrow as 0.5mm, the strength gets lower, and the strip gets broken easily. The ordinary minimum width of 1060 alu strip is 100mm. The 100mm O strip can be used for transformer winding. O temper is suitable for transformers because it’s the softest state of 1060 strip.
