How can we weld two aluminum plates seamlessly

Carefully remove the work-piece joint and welding wire appearance of oxide film and the oil. Aluminum reacts with oxygen in the air and produce a very thin layer of dense natural oxide film on aluminum plate surface, and it generation is faster and thicker than other metal oxide film, thereby preventing the further corrosion of harmful gas in the air and water and playing an important role in protection of aluminum sheet, but it affects the welding of aluminum. So eliminate quality directly affects the quality of welding technology and joint, such as weld porosity tendency and mechanical performance, etc. Chemical cleaning and mechanical finishing are often used.

1. Chemical cleaning: It has high chemical cleaning efficiency and stable quality, which is suitable for finishing welding wire and small scale. We can use the method of immersion washing and scrubbing two kinds.  Brush oil, gasoline and other organic solvent on appearance with 40 ℃ ~ 70 ℃ 5% ~ 10%, and dry at low temperature.

2. When the work-piece has a large scale, a long production cycle, mufti-layer welding or chemical cleaning and then fouling, mechanical finishing is often adopted. First, use organic solvent such as gasoline to wipe the appearance to remove oil, and then directly use copper wire brush or stainless steel wire brush with diameter of 0.15mm ~ 0.2mm, and brush to reveal the metallic luster to stop. Generally, it is not suitable for grinding wheel or general sandpaper to avoid the defects of sand particles in metal appearance, slag entrapment and so on when welding. Other can also be used scraper, file and other finishing surface to be welded.
