1060 h14 aluminium strip

1060 h14 aluminium strip is a semi-hard belt-type aluminium product with 99.6% aluminium content. With relatively high aluminium content, it boasts good elongation and tensile strength, making it adaptable to stretching, punching and bending processes. In addition, it has a high plasticity, strong corrosion resistance, good conductivity and low hardness. H14 is obtained by work hardening and 50% annealing of an aluminum roll which is to be cold rolled into a thinner roll of wanted thickness. This roll is further slit into strips of given width. 1060 h14, much harder than 1060 O, find its applications in fields out of transformer winding (the main use of 1060 O aluminum strip), including insulating glass frames, curtain hole frames etc.
